The Weight Cradle is made by using a State-of-the-Art Robotic “Water-Jet” cutting machine that cuts each unit from a single sheet of ¼” thick high quality cold-rolled steel material. This computer controlled process assures that an accurate profile will be cut every time!

After rounding all of the cut edges for a smooth finish, the plates are then MIG welded to the center column to assure a positive indestructible connection. The overall weight bearing capacity should not exceed a total 20 pounds.

All of the surfaces of the entire cradle are then treated with a black powder coating that is oven cured. This makes the cradle both rust and sweat prohibitive and strong enough to withstand the impact of the exercise barbells during your workout. It provides a more durable finish than liquid paints can offer, while still providing an attractive finish. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues.
